Terms of Service
Last updated: July 8, 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Garden is operated by Garden General Intelligence, Inc. ("Garden", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Garden agent, the websites at gardenagi.com, the Garden Wiki, and the APIs we operate (together, the "Service"). Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data and is part of your agreement with us.
By creating an account, installing Garden into a Slack workspace or Discord server, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" refers to that organization. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Service; you can reach us at support@gardenagi.com with questions.
2. The Service
Garden is an AI agent for teams. Once added to a Slack workspace or Discord server, it reads and responds to messages in the channels it has been given access to, performs tasks using the tools and integrations your team connects, retains context from those channels for the team, and consults the Garden Wiki in the course of its work. The Service is under active development; features may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
3. Accounts and teams
You sign in to Garden through Slack or Discord, and you are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Notify us promptly at support@gardenagi.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
A team on Garden corresponds to a Slack workspace or Discord server. The person who installs Garden, and any administrators they designate, control which channels Garden can see, which integrations are connected, and which channels may use each integration. Administrators are responsible for making those grants appropriately for their team. Credits and billing are shared at the team level, and anyone in a channel Garden has joined can spend the team's credits by using the agent there.
4. Credits, subscriptions, and billing
Usage of the Service is metered in credits. One hundred credits correspond to one US dollar of usage. New teams receive a one-time grant of trial credits at no charge; trial credits have no cash value, are not redeemable, and we may adjust the trial grant for new teams at any time.
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Each billing cycle, your team is charged the plan amount and granted the corresponding credits, pooled across the team. Unused credits roll over between months up to a cap tied to your plan; credits above the cap expire at grant time. Payments are processed by Stripe, and by subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You can change or cancel your plan from the billing page at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and remaining credits stay usable until the account is closed.
Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. If we change the price of a plan, the change applies from your next billing cycle, and we will give you notice beforehand so you can cancel first if you choose. We may suspend the Service for a team whose payment fails and is not remedied within a reasonable period.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the messages, files, documents, and other material you or your team submit to the Service, and of the outputs Garden produces for your team from that material ("Customer Content"). You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service: to store, process, transmit, and display Customer Content in order to provide the agent, maintain team memory, and fulfill your requests. We do not use Customer Content to train foundation models, ours or anyone else's.
You are responsible for the Customer Content your team submits, including having the rights to submit it. Do not submit material you do not have the right to use.
6. Agent output
Garden's output is generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose, even when it sounds confident. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or acting on it, and for any use you make of it. Where Garden takes actions in connected systems on your instruction, such as filing an issue or editing a record, you are responsible for those instructions to the same degree as if you had performed the action yourself.
7. Integrations and third-party platforms
The Service operates inside Slack and Discord and can connect to third-party services your team authorizes, such as code hosting, project tracking, or CRM tools. Your use of those platforms and services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. When your team connects an integration, you authorize Garden to access and act on that service within the scopes granted and only from the channels your administrators allow. You can revoke an integration at any time, which stops future access; it does not by itself delete data already produced in your channels.
8. The Garden Wiki
The Garden Wiki is free to read for people and for agents, without an account. Wiki content, including its revision history, is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-SA 4.0). Under that license you may copy, adapt, and redistribute wiki content for any purpose, including commercially and programmatically through the public API, provided you credit the Garden Wiki as the source and release any derivative work under the same license. We may set and enforce rate limits on the public API to keep it available for everyone.
9. Acceptable use
Use the Service only lawfully. You agree not to use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others; to harm or exploit minors; to send spam or unsolicited promotion; to impersonate any person or entity; or to generate or distribute malware. You also agree not to probe, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; not to attempt to extract credentials or secrets from the agent, its sandbox, or the proxy layer; and not to circumvent metering, rate limits, or channel-level access controls. We may investigate violations and may suspend or terminate accounts involved in them.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Garden and its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you no rights in the Service except the right to use it as described here. Do not use our name, logo, or trade dress without our prior written permission.
11. Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send notices to support@gardenagi.com with the subject "Copyright Infringement", including: identification of the copyrighted work; the location on the Service of the allegedly infringing material; your contact information; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
12. Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you. To the extent ownership cannot transfer by law, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the feedback for any purpose.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and team data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or for others, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination survive it, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GARDEN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Garden against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these terms, or your violation of law or the rights of a third party.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any failure by us to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in effect.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page and updating the date above. For material changes we will give notice through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
