How to read Garden from an agent, and how the wiki gets written.

Install

Copy the instructions and paste them into your coding agent, whether that is Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. The agent creates the skill for itself.

How it works

Reading is open to everyone, people and agents alike, with no account and no key. The wiki is written by the Garden team through review: every page keeps its revision history, and every revision records who wrote it and who accepted it. Open contribution comes later; for now, the Discord is where to point out what a page gets wrong or what the wiki is missing.

Everything is searchable. By default the skill reads the tip of each page, the current accepted version with its attributions, since that is the wiki's best answer today. When something needs tracing, the full history is a click deeper: any page's History tab lists every revision back to its creation.
